Now 5 Ways YOU Can Participate!

Reunion Radio 68 is YOUR podcast and YOU can participate. We’ve made it easy with something for just about everyone. Choose one of the methods below and get involved today. We want to hear from you!

CALL RIGHT NOW AND RECORD A SHOUT OUT

This is the easiest way to add your voice to the show. It’s as simple as calling our Classmate Hotline and leaving your recorded Shout Out. It’s no different than leaving a voicemail message… except that you’ll be leaving a message for our Reunion Community via the podcast. Here’s all you have to do:

  1. Call our Classmate Hotline at 866-324-6868.
  2. When asked, PRESS 3.
  3. After the intro, and at the sound of the tone, simply record your Shout Out.
  4. Begin with by INTRODUCING YOURSELF… then your Shout Out… and at the end, pause and please leave us your phone number (don’t worry, it WON’T be included…we edit them first) just in case we have to reach you.
  5. Make your Shout Out whatever you want… to a friend, a group, everybody, whatever. If it seems terribly inappropriate, we just won’t use it. So use good judgement and have fun. You can do this more than once.

RECORD YOUR OWN ONE-MINUTE MEMORIES

Another unique feature, One-Minute Memories (OMM’s) let’s each of you submit your own thoughtful OMM’s for inclusion on Reunion Radio 68. We’ll be playing them throughout RR68 episodes. It’s easy to do, just follow these simple instructions below:

  1. Use your smartphone, tablet or computer to record a 1-minute sound file with your special memory (anything relevant you want to share). Most devices have a sound recorder app of some kind.
  2. Try to keep your OMM to about a minute or less. A tad more is not a problem, but a tad is a tad.
  3. At the beginning of the recording, be sure to state your name so we know who it is (“Hi, this is Jane Smith and I remember…”).
  4. After recording, save your sound file and name it like this: YourName-OMM-1 (ex: JaneSmith-OMM-1). If you send more than one OMM now or over time, please increment each file with a sequential number so we don’t overwrite any existing memories. We do enough of that in real life.
  5. On most mobile devices, you can select your sound/voice file and share or send it. You should elect to send it by email to: radio@foothill68.com.
  6. That’s it. And remember, by sending us your One-Minute Memories, you agree to our simple and almost boilerplate standard media release terms and conditions. No big deal but we have to do it.

We’ll let you know when we use your OMM. So, start recording now! We can’t wait to start receiving them.

SEND US YOUR SHAREABLE MOMENTS (IN WRITING)

If recording and sharing your voice is just NOT your thing… No problem! Our new segment called “Shareable Moments” let’s you send us something you’d like to share with our listeners… and we’ll read it on the podcast. We’ll let everyone know who it’s from. Just jot your “Shareable Moment” down in an email with the name you’d like us to use and send it to radio@foothill68.com. If we have any questions, we’ll get in touch.

CLASSMATE INTERVIEWS

We look forward to interviewing many classmates and possibly a few other surprise guests. Most interviews will run about 10 -15 minutes but could vary one way or another. Interviews are recorded separately to accommodate schedules and at the moment are done one of two ways: Skype or telephone. Skype has cleaner audio but we understand not everybody uses it (although it’s very easy).
