It was great seeing my old friends!! Will never miss these get-togethers! Tom & I are having our 50th FHS reunion next year!! Aug 29 at Elks!!
As they say, a fine time was had by all. Of course, not as many attendees as the big reunion, but as a result, more intimate. And I talked to almost everyone who was there. Unlike the 50th reunion, where there’s more folks, but you miss a lot of them. Then later on you have exchanges like this:
“Did you go to the 50th?”
“Uh-huh.”
“Really.”
“Yeah.”
“I didn’t see you.”
“I didn’t see you either.”
Also, a number of people who couldn’t make it to the 50th (Hi, Holly and Gary) did come to this one. Looking forward to next year.
Wow. We did it again. Another terrific event and seems like everyone had a good time, if not a great one. Thanks to all who attended and supported this event. It’s my hope that this is now established as an annual event that we can all look forward to.
My heartfelt thanks to Susan (Showalter) Rose for her help and inspiration as always and to Dee (Focht) Hack for assisting with check-ins that she handles so expertly every time. And to the rest of our ongoing volunteer committee, thank you for being cheerleaders and supporting our efforts to keep Foothill 68 alive and kicking for years to come.
We are in many ways a family with a unique bond in common. Some never show up for Thanksgiving dinner, while others do either occasionally or regularly. In either case, the bond remains regardless.
Ok, this is supposed to be you telling us a little bit about your experience at the First Annual Reunion Meetup! You don’t even have to be the first one. We took care of that for you. Just use the form at the bottom of the Meetup main page.

“My sister just sent me a PRICELESS box of FHS Football memories – programs, news clippings, tickets, etc – from the Crestview League championship season of 1967!! I’m scanning the stuff as I can devote time, but find attached here the first of submissions to you for the website…and more coming as time permits…”

Thank you, Jeff, for organizing this event! I think it was great and can’t wait for next year! I think having something for our class every year is a fabulous idea. It gets us together more often. Some of us may make it or not, but not so much time will have passed between events. The place, the food and the company was great! The price was also very reasonable for what was offered.
